zero to ten with corey easterday of current initiatives

We’ve know Corey Easterday for a couple years now, but even we didn’t know just how  much he does here in Charlotte. Put lightly, he’s a busy guy.

To sum up, he’s the executive director of Current Initatives, a national nonprofit; he’s the podcast host of The Easterday Pod; he’s a writer for a fantasy football website, he’s co-owner of Easterday Creative, the marketing agency he owns with his wife; he’s an aspiring stand-up comedian and he plays drums locally. Chances are we’re still missing a thing or two here.

We had the best time discussing all of these initiatives with him on our latest podcast episode. In particular we focus on his work with Current Initiatives and The Laundry Project, a nonprofit effort that helps families get their laundry done while also connecting them to other community resources throughout the U.S. Corey’s been instrumental in expanding this effort.

We also have a great discussion on podcasts, not only his own but the podcasts he enjoys listening to, so if you need some suggestions for new ones, be sure to tune in.

Also in this episode: Talk of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, a discussion about Eminem and Corey’s long lost dream to be a white rapper, and some kind words about hygge. All-in-all, it’s a great listen. You can check it out by hitting play above or by searching for Zero to Ten wherever you like to get your podcasts.
