Zero to Ten with Jason Ackerman

There’s summer, winter, fall, spring, and then there’s tax season – easily the most stressful of them all. Like… are we sure we’re doing this right?

No idea, if we’re going to be honest with you, and that’s just our personal taxes. Add in all the complexities of business taxes and we are in way over our heads. We’re sure you are, too. Thankfully that’s why we’ve got Jason Ackerman on our side. He does happen to be the hygge coworking CPA (thanks for keeping us all paid, Jason) but you might know him as half of the local popular food blog, Scallion Pancake (he says he’s the pancake).

The pandemic has changed a lot for folks financially last year, and businesses might have more to consider when it comes to grants or funding they may have received in 2020 to keep themselves afloat. Jason walks us through all of it and gives some extremely helpful tips for folks as they prepare to file their taxes in the next several weeks.

But don’t worry, it’s not all business. We also talk a little about food and local sports mascots. Listen to the episode above or find us on Apple, Spotify, Google Podcasts or wherever you typically listen to that kinda stuff.
