Podcasts are in right now. Whether you’re taking the dog for a walk, doing some household chores or driving to work, podcasts are a great way to sneak enjoyable moments into everyday tasks. Many of our coworking members agree, and some even record their own shows in our hygge jay street podcast studio.

We decided to poll our community to see what podcasts they’re currently listening to, and compiled the list for you below – because who doesn’t need a good podcast recommendation every once in a while? All of them are on Spotify or wherever you listen to podcasts.

Earn Your Leisure is like a college business class mixed with pop culture. Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings give you a behind the scenes financial view into entrepreneurship, entertainment, sports, real estate and more.

Normal Gossip delivers juicy, strange, funny gossip about people you’ll never know and never meet. Host Kelsey McKinney discusses reader-submitted comedic gossip with a wide range of guests for a fun and lighthearted listen.

Just a Sip is hygge coworking‘s latest podcast that’s designed to bring you some affirmations, mindfulness prompts, quick meditations and overall positive messaging in 2 minutes or less every day. We’re real proud of encouraging folks to take some time each day, even if it’s just one minute, to take care of themselves.

Square Pizza focuses on the intersection of education, innovation and diversity. They host and interview leaders doing incredible work around the country to ensure all students have an equitable education. Hosted by SchermCo, beloved members of our hygge fam.

The Midnight Miracle is a thought-provoking podcast that uniquely blends the salon and variety show traditions while providing a glimpse into the inner lives of hosts Talib Kweli, Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def), Dave Chappelle and friends.

Zero to Ten is another one of our podcasts. This one features 20-or-so-minute conversations with hygge members, partners and really cool peeps doing really cool things in the Charlotte community. If you want a glimpse at some of the movers and shakers in Charlotte, this is where to go.

The Trojan Horse Affair is a podcast from The New York Times and Serial Productions which investigates a strange letter that appeared on a city councilor’s desk in Birmingham, England, laying out an elaborate plot by Islamic extremists to infiltrate the city’s schools. The more they investigate, the stranger things get.
